A. Counting fat grams, on the alkaline diet is not so important.
What is really more important is keeping a good balance of alkaline forming and acid forming foods. The body will move toward it's ideal weight. I'm glad to see you are eating healthy fats and oils. The world is paranoid about fat. It's the bad fats, like trans fats, overheated fat, processed fats and rancid fat, that really cause health problems.
About 20 some years ago I was 45 lbs overweight. I have never counted a calorie in my life. I don't count fat grams either. I simply changed the quality of food I was putting in my mouth. Even though I didn't know about the alkaline diet back then, I was actually eating more alkaline foods, by choosing to eat more vegetables and fruit, and cutting down on junk food.
I have never regained any of the weight.
